Real stories. Honest truth.

How do you create empathy and understanding? We believe it starts by making an honest, human connection.

Slipstream brings together the perspectives and lifetime experience of a PhD anthropologist, a National Geographic photographer and filmmaker, and a team of other seasoned documentarians. Together, we do the hard work of original reporting to find real people whose lives and experiences reveal a deeper truth about issues that matter. Then we go out in the world to tell their stories through long and short film, photography, and writing.

Our work breaks through to people, makes them pay attention, care more and think differently. Not because of gimmicks, clever acting, or marketing tricks. But because it’s real, honest and true.
